From Fairplay, CO, venture south on Highway 285 for roughly five miles until Co Rd 5 beckons you westward. After about five more miles, Co Rd 5 seamlessly turns into Co Rd 22. Keep your eyes peeled for the right spur. Proceed another half mile and turn right onto Sheep Creek Trail (Co Rd 455). A few twists and turns later, Forest Dr will appear on your left. Follow it to its terminal point— a parking lot designed for outdoor enthusiasts like yourself.
