Detailed Trail Description

This is an easy/intermediate trail, an out-and-back trail, meaning you end up at the same place where you started the journey. Due to this, navigation around the trail is easy, and it's almost impossible to get lost. The trail entrance is called the "Red loop" and serves as the exit. There are other loops in the trail, but they all have one similarity: the surface is flat, and you'll come across many palmetto roots and a very muddy surface if it gets wet.

But apart from that, it's a straightforward route, especially if you're an experienced rider/hiker. When you're halfway through the red loop, you enter the White loop, then the blue loop, where you have to follow it back to the White loop, and from there, you end up back at the Red loop. You can choose whether to go another round or finish your journey. But it's important to know that the trail doesn't allow ATVs, motorized vehicles, vans, or motorcycles.

Sights of Interest, Landscapes, Views

You should look for many things as the trail passes multiple exciting places. Some of them include the following:

  • Dense Pine Forest
  • The Upper Floodplain of Julington Creek
  • Nature’s beautiful view

Recommendations/Precautions

  1. Dogs are only allowed with leashes, so you must always remember to have your pet on one. This is to avoid any embarrassment or denial of access.
  2. There aren't any shuttles, so you should rest if you're getting tired before continuing your journey.
  3. It's better to walk and ride when it's dry, as the surface can get muddy when it's rainy.
  4. Look out for obstacles while riding to avoid falling and injuring yourself.
