Nestled just a few miles east of the town of Defiance in Missouri, Klondike Park is a compact yet diverse MTB haven, offering a mix of both easy and challenging trails. With only 5 miles of dedicated trails, the park makes every foot count, offering a variety of terrains that can put even the most experienced riders to the test.

Expect to put your foot down in some of the trickier parts—these trails are not for the faint-hearted. But for the skilled, they offer an exhilarating experience. One can find built-in bike training areas that add an extra layer of fun and challenge.
Over on the eastern side, Hogsback Trail is the star. Beginning at the top of the bluffs, the trail sends you spiraling down through tight switchbacks, a 40-foot sandstone ledge, and some strenuous climbing near the bottom. It's a roller-coaster in the form of a bike trail but be cautious when it's wet—the trail can get slippery.
To reach Klondike Park, take Highway 94 South from the Highway 40/94 interchange. The park entrance will be on the left after 14 miles.
